I’ve been scammed by this big corporate company.
They charged me £86 deposit to get a broadband sorted in my business and I never received any service for it. In the end I asked for a refund and they told me they can cancel my order and give me a refund and they never did. I have to contact my bank and raise a dispute to get back my money.
I had to call their call centre every week to give me a date when they can come and install the broadband and their international team told me every time that they forwarded my case to my order manager. And then nothing ever happened even after several hours of wasted time on their call center every week. I’ve been waiting for 3 months for them to give me a date when they can install the broadband and they gave me some ridiculous reasons like they are waiting for a customer reference number to generate. I felt like I’ve been scammed by a big corporate company. I still don’t have internet at my work place because there’s only virgin media at that area. Really gives me the vibes of a criminal organisation.

it is February 2023, I ordered to have internet installed in December 2021. Over a year ago. Its still not connected. I am lost for words. I had 8 installation days, they show up they cant do something, they book me to wait for them they don't show up. Its pathetic. If you can avoid them don't deal with this company. They have even started invoicing me and sending threatening emails about me not paying for the service I never had connected!
And there was me thinking I chose Virginmedia Business so they would treat me better. Appalling.
Don’t fall into the trap
You have about 2-3 downtime a month that takes minimum an hour to fix.. sometimes you have to wait up to a couple of days for it to come back. In the last 2 months since I have it the phone also stopped working. When I called them up they knew about the problem but wouldn’t have fixed without me calling them up.
If you go for Virgin be ready that deal with a terrible customer service and regular outages.
If you have fixed IP then it’s even worse since they have to manually connect you back every time they reset something.
Other issue I found that your router settings get wiped out after they reset the router , happened about 3-4 times in the last 2 months.
Virgin broadband is serious causing extra stress with very little or no added benefit to my previous significantly slower broadband..

Absolutely rubbish and dishonest
Absolutely rubbish and dishonest! I was with virgin residential and o2 buisness. o2 buisness told me to swap over to virgin media buisness to get my data doubled. I wanted better coverage as I have areas where internet don’t work in the house. Virgin Business promised it will work better with higher speed. It did not work and it’s one the worst service I have received upto date. Chase you before contract and ignore you once you’ve been tied in. Avoid !!!!!!!!!! Customer care buisness keeps you on hold for ages then drops lines. Advisors also are unhelpful !!

What can I say has to be the worst broadband provider on the planet !! After 8 months of possibly the worst internet connection, they swapped me to a business account!! Said I would be able to connect all around my house!! It was worst than the residential one !! The problem is they never sort the issue out it keeps dropping out all the time !! They send an engineer round who spends 5 mins in the property, and it just happens to work !! So we are in the wrong !! Always and you just go round in a circle till you lose the will to live !! I’ve spent 8 hours on the phone taking to these awful people !! I’ve tried to cancel and now I have to pay £175 to get out of a contract they extended because they changed me to a business broadband band absolute con men !! STAY AWAY DON’T USE !! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Rarely reply, ignore complaints and tell lies
The initial set up is fast and install seemless, internet quality good but the nightmare starts happening when you need any form of support beyond this.
I've lost count of how many chats, calls, emails I've had with either no response or a promised action then no delivery. I've raised multiple complaints which have been ignored. I finally managed to get one helpful person who refunded the money owed to me on one of my 2 accounts but then went back to silent treatment when I asked them to help me with the other on-going issue. In the past I've been told there is no evidence, but conveniently, every time I supply evidence, they don't reply. I'm still trying to get an issue from March 2020 resolved! Shocking!

Moved over to Bonline for my business
Moved over to Bonline for my business, roughly half the price for the same product & better customer service. Virgin were better when I 1st signed up but have gone rapidly down hill & whilst providing poor value for money, poor customer service and worse reliability and connectivity.

Definitely the worst
I can't understand how they can be that incompetent! We signed a contract for the broadband services of our office last Thursday. It has been almost a week and we can not still get any update on our order. I was trying to reach them all day. Someone told me that our order was cancelled. Then I achieved to reach someone else and magically our order was replaced (I really don't think it was though). I wanted to get some information about the hub installation date, customer care team told me to contact order management team. When I contacted order management team, they said they don't have the contract so we should contact customer care team. It's a vicious circle and everyone is lying through their teeth!
Useless
We use this company for the broadband and phone line for our company. They disconnected us without giving us any notice, resulting in our business not being able to run. When I tried to contact them, I spent nearly 4 hours in total getting passed around different departments on the phone, being on hold for ages, then getting hung up on after 50 minutes of going through all the departments. This happened multiple times and has resulted in us having to sign up as a new customer again as the quickest way to get out business back up and running.
Terrible handling of customers and would not recommend this company at all.
Incompetence at all levels
Being an existing customer we decided to stay with Virgin and move our connection to new trading address. We booked the install 2 months in advance as we were told there grounds works were needed.
Come 9th Jan for install to property post grounds work, engineer visited and couldn't access due to tree, so we planned for him to return next day on 10th. He returned and after some time we were told the cable marked for the property was serving another property and cable from our site was rolled up and left on a side of telephone exchange not relevant to virgin. So the grounds work team need to be called. 4 days on and we haven't a clue whats going on, we call customer services they say install was completed on 9th and when we explain they say they wall call back and no one does. Multiple emails to dedicated mangers, multiple bounce back from incorrect emails supplied in out of office responses. Multiple calls and told we would get a call back but yet nothing. Absolutely horrendous service, terrible customer service & incompetence at all levels.
Totally useless
Totally useless, customer service incompetent, keep losing broadband, they should be banned as a provider. The worst company I have ever dealt with

Unbelievably bad stay away at all…
Unbelievably bad stay away at all costs. They left me with no internet 2 days before Xmas the busiest time of the year. No they have delayed my number port so no customers can call. What a crap and terrible in company

Awful, don’t change
Awful, we use a cloud based software package and when the internet goes down which happens very frequently, we have to close our doors. I have now had to pay to exit the contract and so this goes down as the worse business decision to date to save £10 a month from BT. For the record BT internet never went down once in 20 years before. To save £120 a year we have lost £12,000 last year alone in lost sales. Awful awful company. Don’t take the risk

I would give less than zero
I would give less than zero, but unfortunately the lowest is the one star. I signed a contract in November 2022, now is end od December and I still don’t have broadband connection. I sent several emails- no response, called lots of times to the support/ customer service- each time I was told something else.
This company is a joke. Don’t go for it, find a different one.
